Summary

An SSRF vulnerability allows access to internal Chrome DevTools Protocol APIs, which can leak the JWT authentication token of another user. A low-privileged attacker could repeatedly exploit this when starting a recording to obtain the victim's JWT token, gaining read/write access to the victim's Whiteboard.

Risk Assessment

A low-privileged attacker can hijack another user's session and modify their Whiteboard data. This poses a risk to data confidentiality and integrity and enables privilege escalation within the application.

Recommendation

Update the application to a version containing the fix that eliminates the SSRF and restrict access to internal DevTools Protocol APIs. Additionally, consider server-side URL validation and monitoring of unusual requests to internal services.
