Summary

In the Linux kernel, the drm/xe/pxp driver's pxp_start function does not clear the restart flag after jumping back. As a result, the jump is repeated every time the end of the function is reached.

Risk Assessment

The incorrect control loop may cause the GPU driver to hang or misbehave, resulting in denial of service.

Recommendation

Update the Linux kernel to a version containing the fix that clears the restart flag in pxp_start.
