MediumCVSS 6.4Exploitation Probability (EPSS)
Low risk19th percentile — higher than 19% of all known CVEs
Summary
The Slideshow Gallery LITE plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) via the 'alwaysauto' shortcode attribute in all versions up to and including 1.8.5. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes.

Authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and above can inject arbitrary web scripts that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This could lead to data theft or session hijacking.
Recommendation
It is recommended to update the plugin to the latest version to mitigate this vulnerability. Additionally, conducting a security audit to detect potential script injections is advisable.
