CVE-2026-116008
MediumCVSS 4.3Exploitation Probability (EPSS)
Low risk9th percentile - higher than 9% of all known CVEs
Summary
DaybydayCRM through 2.2.1 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in ProjectsController::updateAssign() that allows any authenticated user to reassign projects without the can-assign-new-user-to-project permission. Low-privileged employees can send PATCH or POST requests to /projects/updateassign/{external_id} with a chosen user_assigned_id to redirect project ownership and notifications.
Risk Assessment
A low-privileged employee can hijack or redirect projects to other users, breaking access controls and potentially causing confidentiality loss and business process disruption.
Recommendation
Update DaybydayCRM to a version later than 2.2.1 if available, or apply an authorization fix in updateAssign(). Until then, restrict access to the /projects/updateassign/ endpoint to authorized roles only.

SEPPmail Secure Email Gateway before 15.1.1 trusts a file path supplied in externally provided Large File Transfer attachment metadata. The validated workers ran as root.

SEPPmail Secure Email Gateway before 15.1.1 can evaluate attacker-influenced replacement text as Perl code in sender or recipient replacement rules. The validated worker context was root.
