CVE-2026-103298
MediumCVSS 5.3Exploitation Probability (EPSS)
Low risk3th percentile - higher than 3% of all known CVEs
Summary
The CCAvenue Payment Gateway for WooCommerce WordPress plugin through 3.1 does not verify that a payment-confirmation request genuinely originates from the payment provider, and derives its verification key from a value that is empty on a default install. This allows unauthenticated attackers to forge a confirmation and mark any WooCommerce order as paid without payment.
Risk Assessment
Attackers can forge payment confirmations and mark orders as paid without payment, leading to financial losses and disruption of order fulfillment.
Recommendation
Update the plugin to a version later than 3.1 and configure a non-empty verification key for payment confirmations.
