Summary

In the Linux kernel, the iio: pressure: rohm-bm1390 driver ignores the cached error value and unconditionally returns 0. After stopping the measurement, it should return the cached 'ret' value so the user knows the read failed and the data is garbage.

Risk Assessment

Users may receive invalid data without any error indication, leading to incorrect decisions or further failures. Systems using this pressure sensor are affected.

Recommendation

Update the Linux kernel to a version with the fix that returns the cached error value after stopping the measurement.
