Summary

In the Linux kernel, nfc_llcp_wks_sap() and nfc_llcp_build_sdreq_tlv() passed non-null-terminated strings to pr_debug() using the %s format specifier. Buffers allocated via kmemdup() or coming from netlink attributes are not guaranteed to be null-terminated, causing reads beyond the allocated region (slab-out-of-bounds).

Risk Assessment

Out-of-bounds reads can lead to leakage of kernel memory data or system crashes (panic), posing a risk to stability and confidentiality.

Recommendation

Update the Linux kernel to a version where both call sites use the %.*s format with an explicit length limiting output to the actual string length.
