CVE-2026-66912
MediumCVSS 5.3Exploitation Probability (EPSS)
Low risk40th percentile - higher than 40% of all known CVEs
Summary
Zimbra is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) via the From email header during HTML reply composition in Classic UI. Due to insufficient sanitization of the From header value, a remote attacker can send a crafted email containing a malicious From header with an embedded JavaScript payload; when the victim opens the message in Classic UI and clicks Reply while composing in HTML mode with reply headers disabled, the unsanitized From header content is rendered as HTML and the JavaScript payload executes in the victim's browser, potentially allowing the attacker to steal session information or perform actions on behalf of the victim. This issue was fixed in version 10.1.21.
Risk Assessment
An attacker may steal session information or perform actions on behalf of the victim after user interaction with the message.
Recommendation
Update Zimbra to version 10.1.21 or later and inform users about the risk of opening suspicious messages.

An unauthenticated calendar sender can place active markup in a COUNTER message's From address. Selecting the message in Zimbra Classic triggers stored XSS, allowing the attacker to access mailbox data and act as the victim.
- CVE-2026-93643Critical
When OnlyOffice/Document Editing is available, an unauthenticated remote attacker with access to an existing supported public Briefcase document can abuse unsigned save fields to perform path-traversal writes and execute commands as the zimbra user.
- CVE-2026-93642Critical
An unauthenticated sender can forge a share notification that triggers stored XSS when a signed-in Zimbra Modern recipient clicks Accept Share, allowing the attacker to access mailbox data and act as the victim.
- CVE-2026-93641Critical
An unauthenticated sender can forge a share notification that triggers stored XSS when a signed-in Zimbra Classic recipient clicks Accept Share, allowing the attacker to access mailbox data and act as the victim.
- CVE-2026-66911Medium
Zimbra is vulnerable to stored cross-site scripting (XSS) via the Content-Location MIME header in email attachments. Due to lack of sanitization of the Content-Location header, an attacker can set it to a javascript: URI. An unauthenticated remote attacker can send a crafted email to a victim; when the victim opens the email in the Zimbra web interface and clicks the attachment name, the JavaScript payload executes in the victim's browser context. This issue was fixed in version 10.1.21.
