Summary

In the GTM Server Side plugin by stape.io for WordPress, versions 2.0.0 through 2.1.47, the WooCommerce purchase event tracking mechanism allows an unauthenticated attacker to trigger rendering of another customer's full order data, including personally identifiable information (PII), into the page's JavaScript dataLayer. This was patched in version 2.1.48.

Risk Assessment

An unauthenticated attacker can disclose customers' PII and order details, causing a privacy breach and potential regulatory penalties.

Recommendation

Update the GTM Server Side plugin to version 2.1.48 or later. Until patched, consider disabling WooCommerce purchase tracking.
