Summary

PraisonAI prior to 4.5.128 exposes a GET /api/agents endpoint in the AgentOS platform that returns agent names, roles, and the first 100 characters of agent system instructions to any unauthenticated caller. The FastAPI application has no authentication middleware or API key validation and defaults to CORS allow_origins=["*"] with host 0.0.0.0.

Risk Assessment

Every deployment is network-accessible and queryable from any origin by default, leading to leakage of agent configuration information. Disclosed system instructions may facilitate further attacks.

Recommendation

Upgrade PraisonAI to version 4.5.128. Until patched, restrict network access to AgentOS endpoints and configure restrictive CORS.
