CVE-2026-3357
HighCVSS 8.8Exploitation Probability (EPSS)
Low risk38th percentile - higher than 38% of all known CVEs
Summary
IBM Langflow Desktop versions 1.6.0 through 1.8.2 have a vulnerability that allows an authenticated user to execute arbitrary code on the system. This is due to an insecure default setting that permits deserialization of untrusted data in the FAISS component.
Risk Assessment
An authenticated attacker can execute arbitrary code on the system, leading to full machine compromise.
Recommendation
Update IBM Langflow Desktop to a version later than 1.8.2 if available, or apply a workaround by restricting access to the application.
Other vulnerabilities in IBM Langflow Desktop
See all- CVE-2026-3341Medium
IBM Langflow Desktop versions 1.0.0 through 1.9.2 are vulnerable to server-side request forgery (SSRF). This allows an authenticated attacker to send unauthorized requests from the system, potentially leading to network enumeration or facilitating other attacks.
- CVE-2026-6543High
IBM Langflow Desktop versions 1.0.0 through 1.8.4 allow an attacker to execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the process running Langflow. This enables reading sensitive environment variables (API keys, DB credentials), modifying files, or launching further attacks on the internal network.
- CVE-2026-3345Medium
IBM Langflow Desktop <=1.8.4 allows a remote attacker to traverse directories on the system. An attacker could send a specially crafted URL request containing "dot dot" sequences (/../) to view arbitrary files on the system.
- CVE-2026-4503High
IBM Langflow Desktop versions 1.0.0 through 1.8.4 could allow an unauthenticated user to view other users' images due to an indirect object reference through a user-controlled key.
- CVE-2026-4502Medium
IBM Langflow Desktop versions 1.2.0 through 1.8.4 allow an authenticated attacker to traverse directories and write arbitrary files on the system via a crafted URL request containing /../ sequences.
- CVE-2026-3346Medium
IBM Langflow Desktop 1.6.0 through 1.8.4 is vulnerable to stored cross-site scripting. This vulnerability allows an authenticated user to embed arbitrary JavaScript code in the Web UI, thus altering the intended functionality and potentially leading to credentials disclosure within a trusted session.
- CVE-2026-3340Medium
IBM Langflow Desktop 1.0.0 through 1.8.4 is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF). An authenticated attacker may send unauthorized requests from the system, potentially leading to network enumeration or facilitating other attacks.
Original NVD description (English source)
IBM Langflow Desktop 1.6.0 through 1.8.2 Langflow could allow an authenticated user to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by an insecure default setting which permits the deserialization of untrusted data in the FAISS component.
