CVE-2026-121633
MediumCVSS 5.3Exploitation Probability (EPSS)
Low risk2th percentile - higher than 2% of all known CVEs
Summary
The WordPress Order Tracking plugin before 3.6.0 does not verify that a PayPal payment notification was sent to the merchant's account, or that its amount matches the order total, before marking an order as paid. This could allow unauthenticated attackers to mark arbitrary orders as paid using a trivial payment to their own PayPal account.
Risk Assessment
An attacker can mark arbitrary orders as paid, causing financial losses and shipment of goods without payment. This may lead to abuse and disruption of the sales process.
Recommendation
Update the Order Tracking plugin to version 3.6.0 or later. Review existing orders for unpaid payments.
