CVE-2026-121453

LowCVSS 2.7
Published: Updated: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

SQLBot through 1.10.3 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the importToDb endpoint that allows authenticated workspace administrators to read files via an unsanitized filePath parameter. Attackers can supply absolute paths or ../ sequences to import CSV or spreadsheet files, including other workspaces' uploads and server files, into queryable excel_* tables.

Risk Assessment

A workspace administrator can access files outside their area, including other teams' data and server files, leading to disclosure of confidential information. The risk applies to multi-workspace environments and increases with weak administrative access controls.

Recommendation

Upgrade SQLBot beyond 1.10.3 if a fixed version is available, and until then restrict workspace administrator privileges and verify filePath sanitization. Consider monitoring for unusual paths in import requests.
