CVE-2026-119559
MediumCVSS 5.9Exploitation Probability (EPSS)
Low risk22th percentile - higher than 22% of all known CVEs
Summary
OpenLiteSpeed through 1.9.4 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to evade virtual host client certificate requirements over HTTP/3. Because QuicStream inherits a verifyContext() implementation that always returns true, attackers can present a non-mTLS host's SNI with a protected Host header to access protected content.
Risk Assessment
Attackers can access resources protected by client certificates without valid authentication, potentially leading to unauthorized data access and confidentiality breaches.
Recommendation
Update OpenLiteSpeed to a version later than 1.9.4 or apply the vendor patch. Until then, consider disabling HTTP/3 or tightening network-level access controls.
