Summary

In JetBrains products (IntelliJ IDEA, PyCharm, PhpStorm, RubyMine, WebStorm, GoLand, Rider, CLion, DataGrip, RustRover, DataSpell) before the versions specified in the description, the embedded browser trusted revoked intermediate certificates. This could lead to acceptance of invalid certificates.

Risk Assessment

An attacker could exploit revoked intermediate certificates to impersonate trusted sites or intercept communication in the embedded browser. This could lead to data leakage or malicious code execution.

Recommendation

Update all listed JetBrains products to the patched versions (as specified in the description). Avoid opening untrusted links in the embedded browser until updated.
