12th percentile - higher than 12% of all known CVEs

Summary

OpenPanel before 3.0.0 contains an information disclosure vulnerability that allows read-level project members to obtain argon2id hashes of ingestion credentials through the client.list tRPC query. Attackers can request client.list with a project ID and receive full Client rows including the secret column, enabling offline verification of leaked secrets without audit trails.

Risk Assessment

Exposure of credential hashes could enable an attacker to perform offline attacks to crack secrets, potentially leading to unauthorized data injection. The lack of audit trails makes detection difficult.

Recommendation

Update OpenPanel to version 3.0.0 or later. Restrict access to the client.list query and avoid returning the secret column in responses.
