CVE-2026-113711

HighCVSS 7.5
Published: Updated: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

Prior to ApostropheCMS 4.33.0 and import-export 3.7.0, import routes invoke bigUploadMiddleware without an early authorize callback. Unauthenticated requests can perform upload initialization, chunk storage, temporary processing and attacker-declared cleanup work before the later user check rejects the import.

Risk Assessment

An unauthenticated attacker can consume resources and perform temporary file operations before authorization, potentially causing resource exhaustion or abuse. No valid account is required.

Recommendation

Upgrade ApostropheCMS to version 4.33.0 or later and import-export to 3.7.0 or later. Consider restricting network access to import routes until patched.
