Low risk14th percentile - higher than 14% of all known CVEs
Summary
An out-of-bounds read was addressed with improved bounds checking. An attacker may be able to cause unexpected system termination or read kernel memory.
Risk Assessment
An attacker could crash the system or leak kernel memory contents, potentially exposing sensitive data.
Recommendation
Update Apple systems to the versions listed in the advisory to reduce the risk of kernel memory disclosure.
