CVE-2026-112374

MediumCVSS 4.3
Published: Updated: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

FOSSBilling before 0.8.9 contains a Cross-Site Request Forgery vulnerability in the staff guest login endpoint (POST /api/guest/staff/login). checkGuestClientAuthentication() only allowlists client_login and client_create, leaving staff_login without CSRF or Origin validation, allowing remote attackers to force authentication.

Risk Assessment

An attacker can host an auto-submitting HTML form with attacker-controlled credentials to silently log a victim's browser into the attacker's staff account, potentially leading to further attacks or phishing.

Recommendation

Update FOSSBilling to version 0.8.9 or later. Until then, consider adding CSRF/Origin validation for the staff_login endpoint or restricting access to the staff panel.
