Summary

Mall4cloud through 4.0 contains an insecure direct object reference vulnerability that allows authenticated merchants to read other shops' buyer shipping addresses via the multishop OrderController getOrderAddr handler. Attackers can enumerate auto-increment orderAddrId values in GET /m/order/order_addr/{orderAddrId} requests to obtain consignee names, mobile numbers, addresses and post codes platform-wide.

Risk Assessment

Leakage of buyer personal and contact data across the platform is a serious privacy breach and may result in legal consequences (GDPR). The data could be used for fraud, phishing, and targeted attacks.

Recommendation

Upgrade Mall4cloud beyond 4.0 as soon as a fixed version is available, and enforce server-side ownership checks on order endpoints. Consider auditing access logs for unusual orderAddrId enumeration.
