CVE-2026-103330
MediumCVSS 5.3Exploitation Probability (EPSS)
Low risk5th percentile - higher than 5% of all known CVEs
Summary
The Sadad QA Payment WordPress plugin through 1.28 does not correctly verify the authenticity of incoming payment notifications. Verification is keyed on a merchant secret that is empty by default and the rest of the signed data is attacker-controlled, allowing unauthenticated attackers to forge a valid confirmation and mark orders as paid without payment.
Risk Assessment
Attackers can mark orders as paid without actual payment, leading to financial losses and release of goods or services without compensation. The issue affects any installation using the default secret configuration.
Recommendation
Update the Sadad QA Payment plugin to a version later than 1.28 if available, or implement custom verification of notification signatures. Ensure the merchant secret is set to a strong, non-empty value.
