Summary

WeGIA versions 3.5.4 and below contain a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the /WeGIA/html/geral/configurar_senhas.php endpoint. Risk Assessment

An attacker can store a malicious script that executes in the browsers of other users visiting the vulnerable page. This can lead to session theft, account takeover, or data modification.

Recommendation

Upgrade WeGIA to version 3.5.5, which fixes this vulnerability. Additionally, implement output sanitization and escaping wherever user data is inserted into HTML.
