MediumCVSS 5.4Exploitation Probability (EPSS)
Low risk7th percentile - higher than 7% of all known CVEs
Summary
Frappe Learning is a learning system that helps users structure their content. From version 2.0.0 and prior to version 2.41.0, when admins revoked a role from a user, the effect was not immediate because of caching. The issue was fixed in version 2.41.0 by ensuring the cache is cleared after roles are updated.
Risk Assessment
A user whose role was revoked may retain access for some time due to stale cache, creating a risk of unauthorized access. This may violate the organization's access control policies.
Recommendation
Update Frappe Learning to version 2.41.0 or later. Until then, manually clear the cache after role changes or verify users' effective permissions.
