Summary

The Live Sales Notification for Woocommerce – Woomotiv plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 'woomotiv_limit' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.6.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking a link.

Risk Assessment

An unauthenticated attacker can trick a user into clicking a specially crafted link, leading to execution of malicious code in the victim's browser and potential session data theft.

Recommendation

Update the Woomotiv plugin to a version newer than 3.6.3 or remove it if unused. Additionally, educate users about not clicking suspicious links.
