Weekly CVE digest
One email a week with newly published vulnerabilities worth knowing about. No account needed.
This digest covers new vulnerabilities in general, not your servers. If you want to know which of them actually run in your infrastructure, that is what Secvalis does: it scans your machines and reports only what concerns them.
An issue in free5gc v4.0.1 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) when parsing crafted SUCI data during UE registration.
An issue in the NAS decoder component of free5gc v4.0.1 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted Registration Request message.
Improper Input Validation in the HTTPModifySubscription handler of free5gc v4.0.1 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted input.
An issue in the CreateUEContext handler component of free5gc v4.1.0 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via supplying a crafted request.
A NULL pointer dereference in the AMF NGAP Dispatcher component of free5gc v4.0.1 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via supplying crafted NGAP messages during the initialization of a new RAN connection.
An issue in the CreateUEContextProcedure function (/v1/ue-contexts/{supi}) of free5gc v4.1.0 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via supplying a crafted PUT request.
An issue in the ModifyAMFEventSubscriptionProcedure function (processor/event_exposure.go) of free5gc v4.1.0 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via supplying a crafted PATCH request.
A reachable assertion vulnerability in the /nsmf-pdusession/v1/sm-contexts component of Open5GS v2.7.6 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via supplying a crafted DELETE request.
A reachable assertion vulnerability in the NUDM-UECM interface of Open5GS v2.7.6 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via supplying a crafted DELETE request.
An integer overflow in the /nnrf-disc/v1/nf-instances component of open5gs v2.7.6 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via supplying a crafted HTTP/2 GET request.
In luci-app-https-dns-proxy on OpenWrt (PR #15, before 2026-01-17), the setInitAction function in /usr/libexec/rpcd/luci.https-dns-proxy allows authenticated users to execute arbitrary shell commands via shell metacharacters in the name parameter.
ccoap (commit 77f55c4b466e99327c24ace8a2913d3ba7e2ccd5) contains a vulnerability in the option parsing logic that causes a segmentation fault when processing malformed COAP messages with insufficient option data.
ccoap (commit 77f55c4b466e99327c24ace8a2913d3ba7e2ccd5) contains a null pointer dereference vulnerability in the coap_dump_msg() function when processing COAP messages containing options with zero length.
In ccoap (commit 77f55c4b466e99327c24ace8a2913d3ba7e2ccd5), a null pointer dereference vulnerability exists in the server-side session management logic. The issue is caused by a race condition between the request dispatch thread and the session cleanup thread when accessing shared session list nodes without proper synchronization.
ccoap (commit 77f55c4b466e99327c24ace8a2913d3ba7e2ccd5) contains a null pointer dereference vulnerability in the coap_server_handle_session() function when processing COAP messages containing URI_PATH options with NULL data pointers. When the server searches for a URI_PATH option matching the string "separate", it directly calls strncmp() on option_list[i].data without checking if the pointer is NULL. This causes a segmentation fault when the option's data field is NULL.
ccoap (commit 77f55c4b466e99327c24ace8a2913d3ba7e2ccd5) contains a vulnerability in the option parsing logic that causes a segmentation fault when processing COAP messages containing invalid option numbers.
GitLab has remediated a vulnerability in the GitLab AI Gateway component affecting all versions of the AI Gateway from 18.9.0 to 19.0.12, 19.1 to 19.1.7, and 19.2 to 19.2.2 that could have allowed an authenticated user with Duo Agent Platform access to redirect model requests to an externally-controlled endpoint via crafted model metadata, resulting in the disclosure of Google Vertex AI or AWS Bedrock cloud service credentials.
Affected versions of Flowintel allow the LOG_FILE configuration value to be modified through system settings without restricting it to a filename inside the intended log directory. Because the application constructs the log destination from this configurable value, an administrator could set LOG_FILE to an arbitrary filesystem path. Since attackers can influence logged content, this enables controlled data to be written into unintended files. The upstream commit specifically describes an exploitation chain in which an attacker injects a template into a chosen file and subsequently abuses application rendering behavior to execute code. The patch removes LOG_FILE from the web-editable settings, introduces validate_log_file_name() to reject absolute paths, traversal, Windows paths, null bytes, and directory components, and centralizes log path construction through resolve_log_file_path(). Version impacted: >=3.3.0
The '/ws/apiprensa/getVideo' endpoint is vulnerable to SQL injection due to improper validation of the GET parameter `id_ambito`. An attacker can inject SQL syntax that breaks the underlying structure of the MariaDB query, resulting in syntax errors and the exposure of database error messages via PDOException. This confirms that user input is being incorporated directly into SQL statements without proper sanitization or the use of prepared statements.
A vulnerability in the endpoint '/ws/apitribuna/ultimosVideos' where the `limit_videos` parameter is directly concatenated into a MariaDB SQL query without proper sanitization or parameterization. By injecting SQL syntax into this parameter, a remote attacker can cause SQL syntax errors and potentially manipulate backend queries. The issue results in an error-based SQL injection and exposes internal database error messages and stack traces, revealing implementation details of the backend system.
