Weekly CVE digest
One email a week with newly published vulnerabilities worth knowing about. No account needed.
This digest covers new vulnerabilities in general, not your servers. If you want to know which of them actually run in your infrastructure, that is what Secvalis does: it scans your machines and reports only what concerns them.
ClawHub (openclaw/clawhub) application/backend contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the public profile preview's image fetching. The preview accepts a user-supplied image URL and checks the textual hostname against private-address patterns, but does not validate or pin the resolved network destination, so a public-looking hostname can resolve to an internal address or change resolution between validation and connection (DNS rebinding).
ClawHub (the openclaw/clawhub application/backend) does not bind anonymous HTTP API requests to a trusted caller identity, so all direct anonymous API requests share a single default quota allowance. A remote, unauthenticated caller can drain that shared allowance and thereby deny or degrade API access for unrelated visitors. In addition, when the TRUST_FORWARDED_IPS option is enabled without an authenticated edge/proxy, clients can supply arbitrary forwarded IP headers to select quota identities of their choosing and evade rate limiting.
A weakness has been identified in mathurvishal CloudClassroom-PHP-Project up to 5dadec098bfbbf3300d60c3494db3fb95b66e7be. This affects an unknown function of the file updatequery.php. Executing a manipulation of the argument queryx can lead to cross site scripting. It is possible to launch the attack remotely, and the exploit has been made available to the public.
A SQL injection vulnerability was discovered in mathurvishal CloudClassroom-PHP-Project up to commit 5dadec098bfbbf3300d60c3494db3fb95b66e7be. The unknown function in /updateguest.php is affected, and manipulation of arguments gname/editassid allows remote attacks. The exploit is publicly available.
The Testimonials Widget WordPress plugin through 4.0.4 does not validate a user-supplied URL before fetching it server-side and storing the response as a public file. This allows unauthenticated users to make the server issue requests to internal services and read the responses.
The Optimole WordPress plugin before 4.2.13 does not escape unrecognized attributes of its video-player block before rendering them onto the block's wrapper element. Users with the Author role and above can store an event-handler attribute that executes scripts in the browser of any user, such as an administrator, who views the post.
The WP Delicious WordPress plugin before 1.10.8 does not validate or escape the HTML tag name taken from user-supplied recipe block data before rendering it on the front end. This allows users with the Contributor role and above to inject arbitrary HTML tags, including script tags, which execute when the recipe page is viewed.
The Bluff Post WordPress plugin through 1.1.1 does not sanitise and escape parameters before using them as identifiers in a SQL query. This allows unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL and extract sensitive information from the database.
The wp-review-slider-pro WordPress plugin before 12.7.12 does not sanitize a value stored through one of its AJAX handlers, which lacks a capability check, before using it in a SQL statement. This allows any authenticated user, such as a subscriber, to perform SQL injection attacks whose results are then returned to unauthenticated visitors.
The File Manager WordPress plugin before 8.0.5 does not prevent unauthenticated users from downloading its database backup archives, and in some cases writes them under a fixed filename. This allows unauthenticated attackers to retrieve a full database dump including every user's email address and password hash on servers that do not apply the directory's .htaccess file.
The Team Members WordPress plugin before 9.3 does not perform any authorization or visibility check in an unauthenticated AJAX action that returns full team member records by ID, allowing unauthenticated attackers to enumerate and disclose details, including email addresses and phone numbers, of team members the administrator has not published publicly.
The Automatic.css plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via REQUEST_URI in version 4.0.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts that execute whenever an administrator accesses the Activity Log settings page.
OpenClaw versions before 2026.7.1 contain an authorization bypass vulnerability in the diagnostics export command that allows non-owner channel senders to access owner-only host diagnostic bundles. Attackers can request and receive diagnostic details about the host, configuration, runtime, and connected services intended only for owners.
OpenClaw versions before 2026.7.1 contain an authorization bypass vulnerability in the /export-trajectory endpoint that allows non-owner senders to request and receive owner-only trajectory bundles. Attackers can access prompts, model messages, tool schemas, runtime events, and local path metadata from affected sessions by exploiting insufficient authorization checks.
OpenClaw (npm package `openclaw`) before 2026.7.1 does not enforce the documented owner-only requirement for persistent `/activation` policy changes in group channels. An authorized non-owner channel sender can change whether the agent requires mention-based activation, causing the agent to respond more broadly in the group (exposing its responses to additional group traffic) or suppressing expected activation behavior until an owner restores the intended setting.
OpenClaw is an agent gateway distributed via npm. In versions >= 2026.4.10 and < 2026.7.1, persistent memory dreaming mutations omit owner permission checks. An authorized but non-owner external-channel sender can issue the persistent '/dreaming on' and '/dreaming off' commands to enable or disable the Gateway's Memory Core dreaming behavior, disabling background memory processing or re-enabling durable memory promotion where the owner expected it to remain disabled; the practical confidentiality, integrity, and availability impact depends on stored conversation material and subsequent memory use.
OpenClaw is an npm-distributed agent gateway. In versions before 2026.7.1, the global Active Memory toggle mutations could omit owner checks. An authorized non-owner external-channel sender could therefore persistently enable or disable Active Memory for the Gateway, disabling memory recall for future sessions or re-enabling global recall where the owner expected it to remain disabled. The issue is limited to persistent global on/off mutations; session-level controls and read-only status remain governed by existing command policy.
OpenClaw before 2026.7.1 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in the /voice set command that allows non-owner external-channel senders to persist Gateway voice configuration. Attackers with command access can change the voice used by Talk responses for the configured provider, affecting configuration integrity without exposing credentials or granting additional host capabilities.
OpenClaw is an npm-distributed agent runtime. In versions >= 2026.2.26 and < 2026.7.1, PowerShell command analysis on Windows hosts running in exec allowlist mode could approve an exact executable resolved from PATH but subsequently execute a same-named executable located in the workspace directory. If lower-trust content can place an executable with an approved basename into an agent-writable workspace and steer an approved PowerShell command that uses a bare executable name, OpenClaw may run the workspace file instead of the allowlisted path, executing arbitrary code with the privileges of the Gateway or node-host user.
OpenClaw Discord versions before 2026.7.1 contain an authorization bypass vulnerability in guild metadata read actions that allows lower-trust senders to retrieve information excluded by channel allowlists. Attackers can bypass the configured Discord read-target policy to access guild metadata from servers or channels outside the operator's allowlist.
