Weekly CVE digest
One email a week with newly published vulnerabilities worth knowing about. No account needed.
This digest covers new vulnerabilities in general, not your servers. If you want to know which of them actually run in your infrastructure, that is what Secvalis does: it scans your machines and reports only what concerns them.
Netdata Windows Agent from version 2.0.0 until 2.10.4 launches powershell.exe and wevtutil.exe as elevated interactive processes in the initiating user's desktop session during MSI repair. A low-privileged local user who triggers repair can interact with or hijack those visible process windows to execute arbitrary commands with SYSTEM privileges.
Adobe Campaign Classic is affected by an Improper Input Validation vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. A low-privileged attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code, though exploitation depends on conditions beyond the attacker's control and does not require user interaction.
Notepad++ prior to 8.9.8 allows the Folder as Workspace Run by system action to resolve a different sibling file than the file selected by the user. When an attacker places a command script whose name is the selected text-file path with .cmd appended, and the user invokes Run by system on the text file on Windows 10 or Windows 11, Notepad++ can execute the sibling script as the current user instead of opening the selected file.
MCP Atlassian prior to 0.22.0 has a backslash authority confusion in validate_url_for_ssrf because it interprets the authority differently from the Requests connection layer in the header-based Jira and Confluence URL authentication flow. A crafted URL can validate as an external hostname while the HTTP client connects to an internal host, permitting server-side requests to protected network resources.
MCP Atlassian prior to 0.22.0 has validate_safe_path defaulting its base directory to os.getcwd(), and affected Confluence attachment call sites omit base_dir, allowing attacker-selected writes within the working directory. This Python module overwrite can provide code execution when the application later imports the modified module, bypassing the remediation tracked as CVE-2026-27825.
MCP Atlassian prior to 0.22.0 omits _make_ssrf_safe_hook from JiraFetcher and ConfluenceFetcher sessions created through the basic-auth and oauth_pat branches. If an attacker-controlled or compromised configured Atlassian instance returns a redirect to an internal address, those sessions can follow the redirect without revalidating its destination.
MCP Atlassian server before version 0.22.0 allows reading arbitrary server-local files through the upload_attachment function, which accepts an unconstrained file_path. A permitted MCP caller can upload sensitive host files to Atlassian and then retrieve their contents.
In MCP Atlassian before version 0.22.0, the upload_attachment function in src/mcp_atlassian/confluence/attachments.py accepts a caller-controlled file_path and opens the selected server-local file without restricting it to the workspace. A permitted Confluence MCP caller can upload the file as an attachment and disclose data readable by the server process.
In MCP Atlassian before version 0.22.0, ENABLED_TOOLS and TOOLSETS are applied when tools are listed but are not rechecked when a tools/call request is dispatched. A client that knows a hidden tool name can directly invoke excluded read, write, or delete tools despite the operator's configured least-privilege restrictions.
In MCP Atlassian before version 0.22.0, validate_url_for_ssrf checks a hostname's resolved addresses, but Requests and urllib3 resolve the hostname again when connecting. A caller can use a short-lived DNS answer that is public during validation and private during connection, preserving unauthenticated access to internal or metadata endpoints despite the earlier CVE-2026-27826 remediation.
Softaculous Virtualizor before 3.2.9 (Patch 9) and 3.0.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in the billing module handler that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to modify any tenant's account balance by supplying crafted act and from_billing_module parameters to the admin panel dispatcher. Attackers can send a POST request with arbitrary uid and balance values in the billing_data field to trigger an unauthenticated parameterized UPDATE against the users table, enabling account balance manipulation and potential automated service suspension for targeted accounts.
Softaculous Virtualizor before 3.2.9 (Patch 9) and 3.0.0 contains a PHP object injection vulnerability in the billing module handler that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to supply arbitrary serialized PHP objects for deserialization by setting the act parameter to login with the from_billing_module parameter present. Attackers can pass malicious serialized data through the billing_data POST field to the unserialize() function without allowed_classes restrictions, enabling exploitation of available POP chains to achieve remote code execution as root.
Integer Overflow or Wraparound and Improper Access Control vulnerability in RTI Connext Professional (Core Libraries) allows Shared Resource Manipulation. This issue affects Connext Professional: from 7.4.0 before 7.7.0.1, from 7.0.0 before 7.3.1.6, from 6.1.0 before 6.1.*.
Incorrect Calculation vulnerability in RTI Connext Professional (Core Libraries) allows Abuse Existing Functionality. This issue affects Connext Professional: from 7.4.0 before 7.7.0.1, from 7.0.0 before 7.3.1.6, from 6.1.0 before 6.1.*, from 6.0.0 before 6.0.*, from 5.3.0 before 5.3.*, from 5.2.0 before 5.2.*, from 4.1x before 5.1.*.
Heap-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability in RTI Connext Professional (Core Libraries) allows Overflow Buffers. This issue affects Connext Professional: from 7.4.0 before 7.7.0.1, from 7.0.0 before 7.3.1.6, from 6.1.0 before 6.1.*, from 6.0.0 before 6.0.*, from 5.3.0 before 5.3.*, from 5.2.3 before 5.2.*.
An HTTP endpoint intended for provisioning enterprise and reseller organizations is reachable without any session. The authentication middleware is bound only to an explicit list of controllers, and the enterprise controller is not on that list, so no authentication runs for these routes. The only check is that the request body carries a token with a valid signature, but it does not check what the token was issued for, allowing an ordinary user's own session token to pass. This allows creating a new organization with the highest subscription tier and immediate API key.
An unauthenticated attacker can make `get_page_template()` page-template resolution include a chosen readable local `.php` file outside the active theme directories. If relevant pre-conditions are met, this can lead to remote code execution.
LightRAG prior to 1.5.5 contains a vulnerability in the Markdown parser that allows fetching resources with internal IPv4 addresses using NAT64 translators, potentially leading to unauthorized access to internal resources.
Sentry from 23.11.0 to 26.7.0 with relocation feature enabled unsafely deserializes a legacy database field while importing a user-supplied relocation archive. An authenticated user can craft an archive that causes arbitrary code execution in the import worker process.
Netdata prior to 2.10.4 contains a vulnerability in the setuid-root ndsudo helper command fail2ban-client-status-socket which accepts a caller-controlled --socket_path from the low-privileged netdata service account, allowing attacker-controlled code to execute as root on systems with fail2ban-client installed.
