CVE-2026-5137
MediumCVSS 4.3Summary
The RTMKit (rometheme-for-elementor) plugin for WordPress up to version 2.0.7 is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion (LFI). This is due to insufficient path validation on the 'template' parameter in the render_templates AJAX endpoint, which is used directly in a require/include statement without sanitization.
Risk Assessment
Authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher can include and execute files on the server ending in _templates.php, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This could lead to server compromise or data exfiltration.
Recommendation
Immediately update the RTMKit plugin to the latest available version that fixes this vulnerability. If no update is available, temporarily disable the plugin or restrict access to the render_templates endpoint for unauthorized users.
